To be honest all, I can hardly be bothered for now. I spent 16 hours yesterday in a polling station doing the clerking and am crunched. But one thing for sure, I could have told you by 12noon that something big was happening. We are of course not allowed to communicate when on duty, but it was striking how many young first time voters were turning up. It was obvious...

Only 30,450 voters took part in the exit polls - and some of them may not have answered truthfully.
Nothing will be clear before we get results from the marginals- and even then there will be some conflicting results so maybe it's better to just get some sleep and set the alrm for 6am when the picture will be clear.

Pollsters are, I think, used to voters occasionally lying.
A hung parliament. If only, to the gibbet with all of them and start again.
// Mikey, too late for your spite and your spin. Time to wait and see.//

mikey be told - this is just another example of her boundless sense of humour....oops sorry with which she is blest

Dimbleby almost crying over the results being not as he liked or thought. Beeb hacks blaaarting like an ABer
Pundits in disarray and predicting like Mystic Meg
- there maaaay be a conservative majority but on the other hand - there may not ! crowd goes ooooo!

First Tory win, in Swindon, but with a decreased majority and Labour apparently picking up most of the UKIP vote share!
It looks like Ma Hairy Black may lose her seat.

'D'ye want a pickle wi' that?' could be her chat from tomorrow as she returns from the fleshpots of London to the chippie.
Mikey, where have you shown your spite? What’s ‘the nasty party’ you keep referring to?

Jourdain, it really bugs me. People like Zacs, working hard to build a business – businesses being the source of jobs that other people need – and trying hard to build his pension pot which means he will not be a burden on the rest of us – only to be thwarted by the ‘free-for-all’ brigade who wouldn’t understand if it was laid out before them on a plate that everything has a price and that, ultimately, they will be the ones who pay. Frigging nincompoops all – in my opinion.

PeterPedant, good evening my little stalker – put a sock it, there's a good chap.

Just a wild stab in the dark... but maybe the "nasty" party is the one that calls people who vote for the other lot "frigging nocompoops"?
Yes peter a wee bit nasty to Mikey spoiling a decent thread, hey ho,its going to be a long night :-)
jim, I'm rarely one to correct other people, but it's 'nincompoops'.
Dougie...who is Ma Hairy Black ( chuckle)
I think I`ll go to bed and put the TV on when I have to pay a penny in the middle of the night :)

Oh, for an edit feature!
:o)
The youngest MP in the whole of Wastemonster, Mikey.

Thornberry looking very sinister .... and looked liked she had been up all night already ... or was she tanked up?
Thanks Dougie !

By the way, where is TTT tonight ?
Looks like all women candidates winning for Labour up north.
Naomi- I agree with your post. My sister runs a small garage and employs 4 people. It is knife-edge stuff and she pays herself less than any of her employees. Labour & catastrophic, soft Brexit will finish them - no pension other than the business. Corbyn in charge of Brexit will finish the country - EU will crucify us.
