The DUP would like to see lesbians stoned to death and Catholic's burnt at the stake, yet May wants to form an alliance with these bigots. Should Ruth Davidson, leader of the Scottish Tories who saved the treacherous May from certain defeat, now join Labour, where equality actually means what it says?
I had a look at the DUP manifesto earlier to-day and strangely enough there was nothing about lesbians being stoned to death nor Roman Catholics being burnt at the stake. Odd that, eh?
I try to give others' opinions respect but some don't half push my ability to do so. I'd expect Ruth is sewing up her costume and joining the Lesbian League of Britain as we discuss. Flying across the sky, cape billowing.
Yes, under a similarly desperate and spineless leadership as the one which currently governs the Tory party. Fortunately, Labour booted theirs out pretty decisively.
Whilst the DUP have members who have some (insert relevant adjective) beliefs, the Government have assured us that none of Presbyterian-based beliefs will have any impact on policy, and that the support they will be getting will be based solely around economic and fiscal proposals in Parliament.
There is a much bigger problem though - the UK Government is supposed to be the mediator between discussions on power sharing in Stormont (between Sinn Fein and the DUP).
If they now have a relationship with the DUP, the question is 'how can they be impartial.
It's a Relate councillor trying to mediate between a couple whilst at the same time, dating one of them.
I'm pretty sure if you search labour, Tories and liberals you will find people with similar views. Mr Farron springs to mind as one and lets face it many in the Islamic faith (and they are in the parties above) have similar views.
The biggest problem is the one SP pointed out. But what choice does she had. Labours great impossible giveaway has caused this, You should always be careful what you wish for!
