Ah Jim, some of us remember when The Left at least seemed to care about poor people, working class people.
They seemed a bit anti-establishment. Now they believe in anything the PTB hoodwink them into supporting, the EU, free movement of cheap labour, global/crony capitalism.
It's all vacuous identity politics now, the supposedly oppressed v the alleged oppressors.
But the very worst thing, to me, is their unending support for the most hateful, homophobic, misogynistic ideology the world has ever known, Islam.
