No other news at present, but it sounds like a dreadful waste of life.

If all 7 were in that car, I feel for the emergency services.

I did some blerdy stupid things in my youth, some of which were illegal.
I am thankful that nobody suffered because of my stupidity and recklessness, things could have been very different.
If those youths were in that car willingly knowing it was stolen of course they knew it was wrong but I put the blame on the two adults who could have stopped the whole thing happening (assuming they were in the car).

You never know jno the 2 adults may have had mental problems or just not have been right in the head.

I personally blame the parents of the 2 teenagers for not knowing or caring where they were unless the 2 15 year olds lied about a sleepover or something.

certainly not pleasant for the emergency services to deal with, hopefully this will send out a message to any youngsters further tempted... in the meantime this will not be an easy day for some unfortunate families to cope with

Lol, salt away! My point is allowing yourself to be carried in a stolen car or commit crime when your younger is not going to guarantee that you’re going to become a career criminal.

I retract my comment of blaming the parents and condolences to the families who never may have had an inkling their kids were up to illegal and immoral shenanigans.

The kids may very well have not been aware the car was stolen.
For all we know they were just getting a ride , possibly with a friend or relative. How can anyone say they deserved to die????

I don’t recall anyone saying they ‘deserved’ to die. I do recall people saying that their deaths were a consequence of their illegal actions and therefore sympathy wasn’t appropriate.
Must have been horrific for the medical people who had to deal with the aftermath.

Also horrific for the parents and families to deal with the aftermath who aren’t trained to cope with it unfortunately.

I hope more information will become available as time goes on. (or as can be the case, no-one in the journo's world reports on the matter)
They may have all been related (cousins, for example)

Still, whatever, the outcome is that a lot of people will be grieving.
