Naomi, do you believe everything you read? I have not personally investigated JaydaBF's posts to see whether they are true. From reading around, it seems that they are not. I might have guessed they wouldn't be, based on past form. It makes no difference to me, because I'm not retweeting them. I get my news from more reliable sources, not those with a vested...
Mikey, I don't know what Melanie Phillips said (and what makes her automatically be right anyway?), but I don't recall Mrs May saying he was supporting BF.
I don't think you'll find Donald is a member of Britain first, and anyone who suggests he is lending support to the group is jumping to their own conclusion.
Fransen's been consorting with anti-semitic Polish fascists in a desparate attempt to put some beef into BF.
Not that she needs much encouragement on that front
>> “Trump Supports Britain First !”
> You made that^ up!
Nope, he never. He posted a perfectly reasonable interpretation of Trump's actions. An interpretation that anyone familiar with Twitter would recognise.
In retweeting three of JaydaBF's tweets, Trump was supporting her and her views as expressed in those tweets. Not just her, not just the views, but both.
Ellipsis, //Trump was supporting her and her views as expressed in those tweets.//
Let’s say we give you the benefit of the doubt. If her views as expressed in those tweets were that Islamic extremists are to be condemned, I can only conclude that you, Mikey, Eddie, Jeremy Corbyn, and Mrs May, think Trump was wrong to agree with her. I find that worrying.
Speaking for myself, and probably for all the people you mentioned, I don't support Islamist terrorism (or terrorism of any kind), I do condemn it, but I would never show my condemnation by supporting a disgusting organisation like Britain First. I'd rather just condemn in my own words, which is what Trump should have done.
Ellipsis, // I'd rather just condemn in my own words, which is what Trump should have done.//
He’s done that several times in the past, long before you and the gang jumped on this and decided he’s a BF supporter, not something he's ever claimed to be.
Naomi, you seem to be confusing "supports" in the sense of "present tense, does something that helps", with "supports", in the sense of "is a paid up member of".
There is no question whatsoever that Trumps three retweets helped Britain First's cause, so in that sense he supported them. He does not need to claim he supported them. He showed it by his actions.
Ellipses, ….Well, he’s not supporting them like that - he’s supporting them like this… Good grief! Give it up! All he did was tweet those videos to condemn the actions of their main-players – people his critics should condemn rather more than they condemn Trump – but they don’t! You claim he helped BF’s cause? Really? Their cause in this instance was to highlight the appalling atrocities committed in the name of Islam. Why would anyone who regards Islamic extremism as the blight on this planet that it is not support that? Good for Trump!!
Mikey, you seem to have lost that ball again – you know, the one you’re so fond of.
