I can't repeat his comments here on AB, but they are all there for people to read. Not made in private but in the Oval Office, in front of other people.

Is this really the kind of language that we would expect the POTUS to be using ?

It is quite possible to be a billionaire and a moron, DD. Especially when the core of one's wealth is inherited. As I've said before, Trump is a member of de facto nobility rather than a self-made entrepreneur. - No, this kind of uneducated language is not the kind we should expect from the President. But it is exactly the kind of language we can now expect from the...

We oppose people when they do we don't like and support them when they do what we DO like.
That is sort of er normal ...
Do you actually like Donald Trump naomi?
Forget about mikey and me and all the other horrible people.
We are reet nasty I agree.
But what about Donald.

Ichkeria, so what does Hitler have to do with your criticism of Trump? Criticism is fine, but what I read here isn't criticism - it's hatred.
Do you actually like Donald Trump?
Ichkeria, //Do you actually like Donald Trump naomi? //

Not particularly.
Cross-posted there. I'll try to be quicker in future.
Another acute outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome by those with weak immune systems.

Are Haiti, El Salvador and "some African" countries what Trump called them?
Yes?
What is "racist, misogynist, childish [and] moronic" about stating an obvious truth?
I think he is a nice man much misunderstood and on reflection I think he should be allowed to snarl and rant as much as he likes.
Personally :-)
Ichkeria, I'll ask again. What does Hitler have to do with your criticism of Trump?

v_e, //What is "racist, misogynist, childish [and] moronic" about stating an obvious truth? //

No idea. Mikey? Ichkeria?

Having just scanned through this thread I have one question,
What the **** does whatever Trump says in the Oval Office have to do with us in the UK, are there not more important things to be concerned about?
^ No idea. Mikey? Ichkeria?

Naomi.....I explained all this to you before, and you accepted that it was the truth.

The possible voting public in America is approx. 223 million. Trump got approx. 63 million votes, so the percentage of people that actually voted for him was 28%.

Using the same figuring, Hilary got approx. 65 million votes....more than Trump, and therefore she got 29% of the popular vote..

So Trump was not even close to being supported "popularly"
there are but there are those who like baiting, bashing the POTUS for the sake of it -

Emmie......no, we are criticizing him for what he does and says.
i think he is a bit wreckless in his words for a potus, after all he is not in a boardroom talking about acquisitions, but i get his point about bad immigration, quality not quantity, vetting of course if possible ? probably not though from third world countries, america has enough home grown nutters without importing more.
The thing about Trump is:
To many people he comes across as aggressive, bombastic, sexist, foul-mouthed, and divisive.
You may disagree, but I am sure you can see that such behaviour might warrant an adverse reaction.
It was interesting to read Hillary Clinton's account of how she used to be "prepped" by her aides for her TV debates with him. As a woman she felt potentially threatened by his mere presence on stage, and one of her guys would "do a Trump" by clenching his fists, leering, and following her around the floor. It was disconcertingly like the real experience, as it turned out.
Even as a bloke I can see how that sort of behaviour and body language might be repulsive.
For many people it is like that: fire a projectile at a wall hard and it may come back at you. It's like Trump: he shoots from the hip, and people shoot back. But he usually shoots first :-)
// We oppose people when they do we don't like and support them when they do what we DO like.

clearly has no place on AB then - ter daah !

MPs apparently are an exception and will refer to each other as - this useless spinelss ball of fluff in the chamber and be happy about standing fluffy a drink in the bar afterwards ....

Itchy...."But he usually shoots first "....in other words, he opens his mouth, without engaging gear first.
Mikey, He is the President of the USA elected by the system employed in the USA. As disappointed as you may be, that's how it is and you calling him names isn't going to change it.

Any chance of answering v_e's question?

naomi....like this Senator, I think Trump is racist, and he has shown on many occasions that he is also childish and misogynist.

Dick Durbin was present when Trump made his outburst and I have no reason to disbelieve him ::
