//The prime minister has issued a stark warning to MPs that failure to back her plan for Brexit would risk the UK not leaving the EU at all.//

A stark warning? One could be forgiven for thinking she’s worried about flouting the democratic will of the people. Nigel Farage, speaking on ‘The Wright Stuff’ a couple of days ago, said that delaying tactics could be employed until the eleventh hour when Article 50 would be suspended. Is the real end plan coming to fruition? I think so.

// the EU decides the deal but has to get agreement. Obviously agreement has to be with those to whom they are offering the deal. //

Wrong. The agreement is with the other EU states, and not with the UK. If the UK does not like the deal but wants Brexit, it has to accept it. Or give up on Brexit.
When Nurse informed his Parents, they
Were more Concerned than I can say:--
His Mother, as She dried her eyes,
Said, ``Well--it gives me no surprise,
He would not do as he was told!''
His Father, who was self-controlled,
Bade all the children round attend
To James's miserable end,
And always keep a-hold of Nurse
For fear of finding something worse.

Hilaire Belloc.
Gromit, you missed another alternative viz. walk away.
Because I am polite.

To be an extreme example it first has to be fitting. It's clearly not.
Leavers wouldn't have offered concessions every step of a process that was being delayed by the EU; nor would they have searched for ways to delay things at home.
That's not what the paragraoh said. But give it a rest, it's irrelevant anyway.
PARAGRAPH !!!!!!!!!
OG, who are these ‘Leavers’ who wouldn't have offered concessions?
Didn't think it would be long before ZM reverted to insults.

Remain VOTERS were being blamed for the mess. Clearly a stupid accusation as people who lost the vote have no say in how (badly) the policy is carried out by the Government.

Zacs comparison does work. Jews and Remain voters have no say in how their masters implement a policy.
All I'd hope.

Not that I was there but Davis seemed not to be offering much before May started agreeing to things. But let Johnson, Rees-Mogg, and maybe get Farage on the team and we might get better deal suggestions. This EU, that's reputed to be the ones who are coming up with a deal, don't seem bothered.
Remain voters don't have masters, excluding the Commission who they want. They were part of a democratic vote and now do their utmost to thwart the result. The comparison is obviously ludicrous.

Remain voters and remain MPs are correctly being blamed as their activites are causing the lack of clarity.
Is that all you have to say danny? No acknowledgment that my links prove my point? No sudden realisation that you’ve been making points without all the facts to hand?
But, OG, leave voters caused the situation which the remain favouring MPs now have to implement. The situation has been caused by leave voters anyone trying to spin that the other way is delusional.
This thread is derailed though. The point is that May's threat is unacceptable, as is her plan; she needs to go and someone who believes in regaining our sovereignty without being taken for a ride by a corrupt club, taking over.

Any deal proposed by the UK has to be accepted by the other 27 EU States. Do you really believe Johnson, Rees-Mogg, and Farage would have concocted anything that was acceptable?
Leavers caused Brexit. Remainers ensured it was a mess.
Well, finally, an admission.

And on your other point, what damn fool MP would want to become PM of a divided party? May is here to stay until Brexit is done, I’m afraid.
"Do you really believe Johnson, Rees-Mogg, and Farage would have concocted anything that was acceptable? "

Yes; walk away.
"Any deal proposed by the UK has to be accepted by the other 27 EU States"
No it doesn't. It would be nice if the EU suddenly started behaving sensibly, but the deal which say, "Stuff you if you don't wish to be reasonable adults, we're going; say goodbye to the cash ransom you demanded", can simply be, agreement or no agreement. This had been pointed out numerous times on this thread alone; I don't understand why it keeps bring ignored. The EU knows this can happen; it's just remainer activity which makes them think that it's a hollow threat.
