We were going to Swindon to support Waterboatman doing his parachute jump
We left about 07:00, at 08:00 ish we were about 50 miles in approaching the M25, Sevenoaks area, the traffic in front of us came to a sudden stop, Tash stopped ok, no problem, the Merc. behind us didn't, well not until he was parked in our boot, and shoved us into the car in front, air bags went off, short term chaos, everybody out.
Bottom line is we are all ok, Tash has a bit of a stiff neck, PMs checked her out on site, didn't think there was a problem, usual advice given, the rest of us are ok, airbags and headrests did their jobs.
Police on scene, checked the rear camera, no doubt whose fault it was he was looking out the side window at the time.
AA Recovery brought us and the car home. Hopefully car will be written off, I don't want it back that's for sure, was going to change it early next year anyway, looks like that's been brought forward a bit.
Hopefully nothing else will go wrong, fingers crossed.

It must have been traumatic for Tashi in light of the fact that she lost loved ones in an RTA. My car was rear-ended and totalled on Boxing Day 2013 and it took a couple of days for the whiplash to come out. I was suffering for months afterwards. All in all, I got a few grand in compensation.

Thanks MM that's some good news.
We're ok, Tash has a bit of a stiff neck, no other injuries, we were lucky we had been doing about 50 mph, came to a very sudden stop so he must have hit us about 50 mph just through not paying attention, messed up both ends of the car big time.
So glad you're all ok.
glad your ok. scary stuff!

Thank you ABers for the good wishes, appreciated.
What a pain in the harris Balders, just pleased that nobody was hurt x
Wow, just goes to show, you never know. Set out to do one thing, in this case supporting a good cause. Next your in a frightful, but, avoidable incident. Life eh?
I Wish Tash well, and your good self.
Glad everyone's ok & home safe.

Thank you MT. ds and LiK
I hope Tash will be okay when she drives next time. It must have given all of you a helluva fright.

Good job the boys weren't in the boot.

Hope tomorrow is much less eventful for you. ☺
So glad you are all Ok, hope Tash's neck frees up soon.

Hi Wolf, she doesn't have to drive again 'til Tuesday, Nat will do Monday if needed. She's a tough little Lass, she'll be fine, we'll look after her.
Thanks Marvel, she'll be ok.
I'm glad that you're both not seriously injured. Prepare yourselves for a tsunami of phone calls from accident claims companies
Glad to hear you're all ok.
Glad no one was injured...but watch the whiplash, even off your safety belts and get Tashi medically signed off as to any potential claim

Hope boaty didn't crash!

I had a pretty low impact crash. The person who hit me couldn't have been going much over 10mph. It still hurt though and left a seatbelt bruise on my neck.

Not going to /// get Tashi medically signed off /// it was the other guys fault, if it needs a claim it will be done, and he'll be lucky it's only the one.
I hope you and co will have some well deserved gin later.
