bainbrig, you should apologise to emmie for calling her a liar, however you have proved your point about people coming here not wishing to debate. here's your first contribution to this thread. "Diddly. The proportion is about 80% who don’t give a $h1t, 20% like you (and me) who do. I find it easiest to let the miseries have the run of threads like these, as you...

We love the parable of the Good Samaritan, but the ability to get the conclusion that the illegal immigrant is that Samaritan is an extraordinarily creative piece of exegetical skill
The good Samaritan/neighbour helped somebody in need out of his own pocket.
The illegal immigrant/not a neighbour is breaking into someone's house to steal from them.
"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up".
Seems like the appropriate advice.

They should be sent back to France, and France should send them back to wherever they came in , Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain etc.and thence to on to their homelands. They should all have stronger boarder controls. Spain already sends the Moroccans back home, a long standing agreement with Morocco I believe. They are sent back within a week or two.
Seems like little old Heathen me is a lot more Christian than you Theland, I will happily take in anyone in need, including immigrants, the homeless and even on occasions people who have done me a bad turn. I think the point Corby is making is that it's very hard to trumpet on and on about your god's word and Christianity in general when you have views about refugees and even illegal immigrants such as you do. It's not being pious or the interminable term ' virtue signalling' it's being a decent human being and helping those less fortunate than yourself.
