Is someone trying to outdo PP in the linguistic acrobatics stakes? Both make me scratch my head sometimes but the difference is that PP makes me smile and speaks with knowledge and thought rather than being on autopilot churning out pharases that are meant to sound meaningful when one really has nothing to say

I am continually surprised at how many people think the law is great until they disagree with it, and not all of them arguing from within HMP. After Ms Begum has been in Syria for four years, the Home Secretary seems to be making an unplanned and sudden change in the law to suit the mob.
Corbyn, hardly the most PR-savvy politician at the best of times, stands up for treaties we have ratified because they were just. In doing so, he appears to be closer to Trump than to Putin, although those two have a relationship tv soap operas would think too stupid for consideration.
Strange days indeed.

nope - no the progression is - universal dec of human right 1952
british nationality act 1981
Al - jedda house of lord 2013
british nationality amendment act 2014
the 2014 act tries to reverse al jidda
that is the possibility of a second nationality is NOT sufficient
into the possibility of a second nationality IS sufficient ( to allow the Sadge to take away british nationality)
and I dont think it succeeds

She was in complete total agreement with the aims of ISIS, to kill by beheading and crucifixion of Christians and of the rape and enslavement of them and of anyone else who did not subscribe to the warped ideology of Sunni Shia Islam.
Strangely, no Islamic county wishes to give her sanctuary either.

Many a Islamic countries have already absorbed refugees in numbers that would make our eyes water in Europe, and have been doing since the 1940s. I don't know the latest figures but more than two million Palestinians in Jordan and 1.5 million Syrians in Lebanon constitute a sizeable chunk of their populations.
Shamima Begum has no links to most Moslem countries, but has or had until very recently UK citizenship. It could be argued that she will be easier to monitor here. I agree with the PIRA idea, paraphrased as every injustice to one member of an undesirable organisation recruits many more to their numbers.
We already know that pernicious lies are quicker to spread than bland truths. Rather than allow discontent to bubble away, a quick repatriation will dispel those rumours. There's nothing like newspaper images of a monster buying bread and milk in a supermarket to take away any mystique or glamour she might exude currently.

This is VERY well-known. The complaint is not that the poor Middlle-Eastern countries haven't taken in refugees (and wasn't that a boon to Lebanon - "Pity the Country" by Robert Fisk - read it), but that the rich ones like Saudi Arabia and Qatar haven't.
