// Lawyers representing a Syrian boy who was attacked at school have served a legal letter at Tommy Robinson’s home in an attempt to sue him for defamation.

The anti-Islam activist posted a series of videos and Facebook posts about the incident in October.

The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, has been summonsed to court for alleged assault.

The teenager had shared numerous posts from Mr Robinson’s Facebook account in the months before the incident, as well as from Britain First and other far-right accounts. //

One of the drawbacks of accepting £millions in donations from gullible far right but jobs, he is now worth suing.

> Are we saying this boy isn't a victim?

I never said he wasn't.I am casting doubt over your original assertion that TR must be fully responsible for what happened..
Although the video says differently.

talbot think you're muddying the waters a bit with that
It's not being pedantic.

The arguement as to the level of influence and accountability of TR is key especially when the issue of his guilt (if confirmed) and level of damages awarded.
Quite right...let us just like most of the MSM have done ignore it for the good of diversity.
Talbot notice the security guard just standing and watching as a boy gets repeatidly (whilst in water) booted in the head by more than one guy whilst he's wrapped around his bike.

That's people who defend tommy R when he causes violence and they say ah but was it his fault?
Shouldn't it be the woman who actually did lie who should be sued?
Imagine if the boy in Talbots video or the Syrian boy in the OP was you, or even worse probably.. your own child.

I would want TR and any other jumped up xenophobe responsible to be sorted.
I would want justice to be done ensuring that the party is responsible.

If it cannot be shown on the balance of probabilities that TR was responsible then I would accept the rule of law.
look, AGchrist, you obviously didn't see the videos that TR put online.
*correct* party.
Spath, I don't recall you apportioning blame for the actions of Salman Abedi but maybe I missed it?
Sorry i thought this thread was about the lawyers representing the syrian boy choosing to try sue TR
Spath, whether I have seen them or not counts for nothing when it comes to the hearing.

I am merely arguing whether TR can be held fully (or then partly) to blame for the actions of another party especially when he did not solely produce online material that led to an attack.
urmm... I'm pretty sure the vids will be used as evidence.
Spath,I don't doubt that, along with material from Britain First and other groups.

Do you see where I am coming from here?
you're saying others are responsible i'd agree but not to the extent that TR is.
Sounds like a preamble to a pay-off from Facebook. Kerching!
Could backfire....big time.
Which straw broke the camel's back?

Look,I have no idea which online posting (s)allegedly influenced the lad.

There will be a lot of legal arguments that we are not privy to.It is not as clear cut as you make it.
you're probably right but from what i have seen TR will jump on any band wagon no mater what the consequence even if it slightly promotes his ideologies. That's dangerous especially now kids are involved.
