I am saying nothing at this stage - I think the report, and the result of the case, says it all.

//Sgt Paul Street, who moved Robinson on, told Peterborough county court he did not know who Robinson was at the time. He said he moved him on due to intelligence that he was a football supporter likely to cause trouble, and was with a group of other “risk” supporters.//
He was with two other adults and seven children.

"Shock-Horror" one police sergeant suddenly unable to recognise Tommy Robinson decides he is an away supporter and drinking beer in a pub. You really ought to get out more.
If the local lads turfed every away supporter out of the pubs of Cardiff and Twickenham who were actually drinking beer then our licensing trade in those areas would die today. What a stitch up. Of course he was singled out. Of course the OP is anti alcohol and anti Robinson so hardly suprising. Bet an offer of a gig with your record player in the back room of the Dog and Duck wouldn't be turned away?

He probably does get picked on Robinson, but then I can just imagine the sort of person he is: make an absolutely irritating *** of yourself and therefore a target for people such as the police. Then leap straight in when the provocation or the reputation kicks in. The fact that he got his phone out and started trying to interview the officer says a lot. I can’t imagine anything more cringeworthy.
Moral of story? Don't take your kids to see a football match wearing flip flops. You will be, as a completely unknown person to plod,removed from a pubic house and deemed to be a potential terrorist, or potential threat to local law and order. This happens on a regular and random basis of course all over the UK, and it is high time that the rest of the World was aware of it. If only to dissuade the peace loving would be immigrants that this is not a safe, or welcoming destination, if you are in search of freedom and peace of mind. Try Russia or Saudi Arabia instead my long lost brothers.

My tongue-in-cheek comment in my OP refers to the judge's assessment of 'Tommy Robinson', not the police officer's.
// If the local lads turfed every away supporter out of the pubs of Cardiff and Twickenham who were actually drinking beer then our licensing trade in those areas would die today. What a stitch up. Of course he was singled out. //
An obvious, and irrelevant statement. 'Tommy Robinson' was not 'turfed out' of the pub, the officer asked him to leave, and he refused. Surely you would back an officer over a hooligan who is trying to film that officer while he is in the execution of his duty which is provocative at best, and calculated to start trouble at worst.
// Of course the OP is anti alcohol and anti Robinson so hardly suprising. //
Another obvious statement, which simply confirms my reason for posting, which - as far as being anti-'Tommy Robinson', I don't deny, and my dislike of alcohol is neither here or there, the idiot can drink himself into oblivion for all I care.
// Bet an offer of a gig with your record player in the back room of the Dog and Duck wouldn't be turned away? //
Rather a poor attempt to belittle me there retocop, and for the record (!) - I don't do pub gigs, they can't afford my rates.

Spicerack - // Seriously, you need to watch the video … //
Have I missed something? Where is there a video?
// … and stop a) making up scenarios … //
I have not 'made up' anything. If you read back through my posts, everything I have said refers to the link, apart from suggestions as to what may have happened, which I have clearly indicated as such.
// … or b) believing everything you read. //
I don't - but I will take the word of a police officer that 'Robinson' smelt of alcohol, over your unsubstantiated suggestion that 'Robinson' was drinking water.

An attempt ay humour - somewhat dissipated by the fact that another poster has advised that the police officer attending was acting on intelligence received.
Do try and keep up.
