For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.There are at least two ways of avoiding the 2/3 requirement: a motion of No Confidence -- riskier, admittedly, as it also would give scope for Corbyn to try and form a Coalition, for which he might now have the numbers; and a Bill in the form of "Notwithstanding the terms of the Fixed Term Parliament Act, there shall be a general election on [date]." Both of these would require a simple majority rather than a 2/3rd majority.
