I apologise for there not being a link, but it seems that I can no longer copy and paste links on my phone.
The question I wish to ask is why did Kate choose to wear typical Pakistan dress, when their dignities don't return the same respect by dressing in western clothes when visiting our shores?

Yes. Since long before 1945 the Morning Suit was/is worn by
the Ministers of the Japanese Government and their Monarch.
The Imperial Japanese Navy adopted the uniform of Her Majesty's Brittanic Royal Navy . If you look on youtube at the signing of the surrender ceremony 1945 on USS Missouri ,,Tokyo Bay you will see the Japanese Foreign Minister and members of his party dressed as,in your link.

AOG - // Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it you who put:
/// "I think they are - they are the next generation of the Royal Family, and they are adapting to changes in the world in which they live, which is appropriate in my view" ///.
I take this as meaning that you are in favor of the changes that the young Royals are making to the centuries old culture and traditions of our Royal Family. //
Then, as I said, you are taking it wrongly.
I do not equate the cultural sensitivities of the Royal Family with the erosion of tradition, I don't believe that one equates, or indeed leads to the other.
The Royal Family needs to adapt, it always has, and it always will, and if you look back you will see the truth of that.
Adaptation and abandonment of tradition are mutually exclusive, they are not connected, and your assumption that they are, and that I 'honour' the Royals for it, are both incorrect.
