Seems that way.

I feel the royal family should not be defending Andrew, and instead putting the spotlight on him, else it gives the impression the royals condone the behaviour.

If this was anyone else they would face retribution and trial.

What similar cases Teacake?
I know someone who has had a fair bit of personal contact with PA over the years..and his opinion is that he is a very unpleasant, arrogant , unsavoury person with questionable morals and double standards
Question Author
I'm not surprised in the slightest Murray.
Tv documentary I watched showed Sarah F with Andrew at Epstein’s socials.
I watched the documentary the 'prince and the paedophile last night'.

The impression I got at least concerning Prince Andrew was that everyone involved knew exactly what they were doing and were happy to do it at the time.
I agree L. He appears to think he is untouchable. What does he actually ‘do’ now ?
Question Author
Evidently he is untouchable :/
A paedophile is specifically someone who has a sexual interest in children before they've reached puberty. Call him rude names but at least names that he deserves.
It would depend on which country this took place and what the age of consent is in those countries. I believe America has different age of consent in the different states. Do we know where these incidents are said to have taken place?
PA is still quite busy doing meets and greets.

I don’t like the man or his morals, but there’s no evidence of paedophilia. People, tabloids etc seem to forget the actual definition of the word.
It appears the 'age of consent' and illegal sex with a minor differs from state to state. Crazy. If a federal offence it should be the same in every state.

I know others would agree with the description given for the alleged actions.
It is that kind of behaviour.
retro me @ 13:43 Do we know where these incidents are supposed to have taken place?
Barsel
I am assuming, rightly or wrongly, on U.S. Territory. Only because Epstein was of interest to U.S. Law enforcement and he died in a U.S. Prison. That death is investigated by the FBI.
If you mean others would agree with the description of paedophile then others would also be wrong. I'm not defending him but that's not what he is. The word has a specific meaning it's not just an insult to be used when people fancy.
Retro, I thought I read one of the places was London in which case if she was 17yrs old, that wouldn't be underage.

//I am assuming,rightly or wrongly, on U.S. Territory//

Yes, but the link you put on shows in some states it's 16 some states it's 17 and some it's 18.

Yes I know. It's crazy. It should be a Federal Offence whereby all states are working from identical legislation.
It's America retro. I think they still have the death penalty in some states but not all?
I think I heard/read that at least one occasion was in New York and that the age of consent there is 18 and the girl was 17 at the time. (But I could be wrong)
