Most people here (with the possible exception of our crossword fans) probably don't buy print newspapers at all. So they're reliant on web versions. The fact that the Daily Wail is the most popular newspaper website in the world probably accounts for lots of people reading its content, simply because Google then pushes it to the top of its search ranking for anyone seeking out information on a particular issue. Potentially more reliable newspaper sites, such as that of The Times, are hidden behind paywalls, so they're far less likely to get quoted here.
A quick look at any AB poll based upon political allegiance, such the current one asking about members voting intention in the General Election, suggests that AB's membership is skewed far more to the right than the general population of the country is (possibly because the age profile of AB members seems to be significantly skewed towards those of 'advanced years'). So it's probably unsurprising that there are plenty of right-wing posts here.
However there do seem to be some people here who're incapable of reading and/or understanding the in-depth analysis of some of our more 'serious' newspapers and who prefer to simply tag along with the over-simplistic 'solutions' offered by the Wail, et al.
