Right Wing Press
The trashy right-wing press is over-quoted on this site - by which I mean the Daily Fail (sic) and the Daily Express. Is it indicative of the intelligence of said posters? Do they not read the Torygraph which at least has more articulate journalists even if one disagrees with their views?

Most people here (with the possible exception of our crossword fans) probably don't buy print newspapers at all. So they're reliant on web versions. The fact that the Daily Wail is the most popular newspaper website in the world probably accounts for lots of people reading its content, simply because Google then pushes it to the top of its search ranking for...

I take the Mirror on weekdays (horse racing coverage gives me more info and leaves less to research) and the Express on Sundays (better crosswords). One is extreme left, t'other extreme right and both just as rabid as each other (bit like some ABers:-/). I do not get my political views from either, instead relying on various news channels/sites.

Diddly, do you realise what life would be like in a far left country? Do some real research, read some books, ask people who have escaped communism. I live within in a family who has done so. There is not a lot of difference between far right and far left ultimately. The wealth and the power remain with the few. The majority are oppressed. What you think is far right on AB is nowhere near far right.
Diddlydo knows diddly squat.
If you think that Sky News is far right, you have no idea what far right means. Nowadays, I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 100% unbiased news outlet. The BBC is nowhere near as bad as the Tories among us shutter on about. I'm afraid that whenever someone sees or hears something that doesn't match their own beliefs, they shout "Bias" and throw their toys out of the pram.
Believing in climate change doesn't make you far left.
Now, some of the more simple minded lefties here seem to think that the Beeb is right leaning. They can't win.

The problem with the BBC is that they should not righ/left or any wing. I'd say at present they are generally for the Metropolitan London elite, which is why they appear to be left to rightists and right to lefties.
Comparing them to sky or any Newspaper is wrong. You have a choice with Sky, the Daily Mail or the Guardian you dont with the BBS tax.
