Right Wing Press
The trashy right-wing press is over-quoted on this site - by which I mean the Daily Fail (sic) and the Daily Express. Is it indicative of the intelligence of said posters? Do they not read the Torygraph which at least has more articulate journalists even if one disagrees with their views?

Most people here (with the possible exception of our crossword fans) probably don't buy print newspapers at all. So they're reliant on web versions. That is pretty disrespectful.
Most people have an opinion, and if they read a newspaper that chimes with their views, then they will continued to read it. That will then influence them on other subjects, usually on a similar political agenda, that they read in the same newspaper.
Obviously it is a mistake to consume news from just one (possibly biased) source. Ideally we should read every Daily Newspaper from different spectrums of opinion. But we are too busy to do that, so buy just what re-affirms our long held views.

The fact that the Daily Wail is the most popular newspaper website in the world probably accounts for lots of people reading its content, simply because Google then pushes it to the top of its search ranking for anyone seeking out information on a particular issue. Potentially more reliable newspaper sites, such as that of The Times, are hidden behind paywalls, so they're far less likely to get quoted here.
A quick look at any AB poll based upon political allegiance, such the current one asking about members voting intention in the General Election, suggests that AB's membership is skewed far more to the right than the general population of the country is (possibly because the age profile of AB members seems to be significantly skewed towards those of 'advanced years'). So it's probably unsurprising that there are plenty of right-wing posts here.
However there do seem to be some people here who're incapable of reading and/or understanding the in-depth analysis of some of our more 'serious' newspapers and who prefer to simply tag along with the over-simplistic 'solutions' offered by the Wail, et al.

The BBC by it charter is compelled to be unbiased.
(whether they achieve that depends on your own political bias).
But Newspapers are not obligated to be impartial and are openly one sided. Most viewers and readers ARE biased, so post what they agree with rather than what is true.
Newspapers are owned buy multi-billionaires who have a right wing bias, so their newspapers reflect that.
