98 and gone into hospital for a check up on a pre existing condition.
Has had a good run after landing on his feet all those years ago.
A very fortunate man.
Has, "worked hard," and, "supported the Queen," and given, "a life of service to our country."

Is that the sickness that moved to N.I. but is somehow, conveniently for some, deemed to be an"English" problem?
I hope that the DoE gets well soon and when the time inevitably comes that he passes peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones. I also hope that everyone gets the final days that they wish for others.
