Maybe i am behind the times but didnt Barack Obama set up a commission to prevent such happenings such as this covid-19 outbreak.Why isnt Trump using this commission to stop the virus or at least using them in a helpful way.

I can’t imagine that a “commission” could stop a virus epidemic.

Mind you the US response to this has been chaotic: airport checks I thought had been discounted as a waste of time. In fact it’s probably making things worse as people are crammed together in dirty airports.
So maybe by comparison setting up a commission might be more use
