The President cleared the room when he admitted taking hydroxychloroquine.
He had also found a doctor to prescribe it
and MY question is : if a relative did that and died - would you complain to the authorities ( GMC and courts here ) that the doctor had NOT acted in the patients ( your relative that is!) best interests and should pay you ( the estate ) much moolah and lose his licence
Note to help posters - hydroxyChlor does NOT have a licence to be used in warding off covid
Meanwhile back in the real World the UK places an order for £35million worth of hydroxychloroqine. Is this to stop the Trumpster getting his hands on it?
The thing is, if he doesn't get Covid, his fans are all going to say it was because of the hydroxychloroqine and he's going to declare himself a genius (again). The only way he loses here is if he tests positive for Coronavirus, whoch despite my dislike of Trump, I don't wish on anybody.
He's a lousy president, but he's a cunning beggar.
Listening to a guy on the radio yesterday who takes the drug for his ailment (didn't catch whether it was Lupus or RA or a.n.other) and he was worried that, if The Donald's followers suddenly rush out and demand the drug, there would soon be a shortage for those who actually 'need' it. Oh, and by the way, this guy caught C19 earlier in the year - not hospitalised but the worst illness of his life. So, probably not really a preventative medicine.
Hydroxychloroquine is not anti viral and I'm sure Trumps physicians have told him this which makes his actions even more ridiculous. HCQ is given to patients with mild RA to reduce inflammation. I was given it when first diagnosed but it did not work very well and side effects were a nuisance ( acid reflux, nausea). They tried it out re CV19 to try and damp down the bodies TNF response to CV19 when the virus entered the lungs. It seemed to have a limited effect and I think they are still working on this, but it certainly will not prevent a viral infection, just j(maybe) help reduce inflammation in a patient already infected and showing pneumonia symptoms.
Easy and cheap to make in vast quantities. Let's face it, he was just a rent a gob lefty brought on to 'have a go about something'. Probably on a lefty radio show if ken was tuned in.
Ah, so i'm a leftie again, now? If I had a pound for every time i'd been called that, i'd have...…………..ooohhhhh………..at least a fiver. And all from this site, too:-/
He actually sounded white, spice, if that answers your question. Mind you, many of the second generation Asians I've decorated for sound more Lancashire than I do.
