Chaos and a car crash. Tories begin to think Boris has lost his Vim, (not that he ever had any} .
Missteps , U turns, and fears for Boris,s health, leave senior Party members openly muttering he will have to go.
When summoned in front of the 1922 Committee he was warned about Walling himself from the Party.
Throw Cummings into the mix , and he will have to go before the next G/E. I hope he does not go, because he will be an Asset to Labour .

Not sure about 40 years either.
Though Boris’ 365 seat landslide in December was impressive, Blair got 418 seats in 1997 and 413 In 2001.
Not sure you can argue those weren’t proper wins.
'Champagne socialist' means, I presume, a socialist who is well off. 'Champagne conservative' means, I presume, a conservative who is well off. What's the difference apart from the presumption that a socialist wants to improve life for the less well of, and a conservative wants to improve life for the better off?
I cannot disagree with any of that.
But I would add Wilson was up against Heath, and that Government didn’t end well either. The 70s were really awful.
