....And They Wonder Why They Are Being Locked Down!

There seems to be this widespread idea that in city centres all pubs and bars kick out at the same time. They don't. Some close by midnight but many continue into the early hours. This means a continual trickle of people leaving when they run out of money/can no longer stand/are fed up with the company they are with/need to get home to bed to get up in the morning...

If you kick everyone out at 10 this will happen.
Blame the idiot Johnson - they even admitted there was noi science behind this - they just wanted to do it.
Maybe if the Government was open with figures and not deceitful then people would take more notice? As it is Herr Hancock-Goebbels is getting more and more authoritarian by the day.

No TTT, I want to save the Party.
Johnson and Hancock are handing the next election to Sir Kier on a plate, They are not looking at the bigger picture here, just the doom mongers with their dodgy figures Witless and GSK-Valance.
Hancock is a despicable person. I bet, like ZM, he spent most of his school life with his head held down the bog by Paterson of lower V whilst Dattoo of Remove pulled the chain.

They certainly appear to have lost control of reasoning and judgement.
It looks like lock down is being used by them more as a political/economic saviour plan than listening to the advice from others re a circuit breaker to try and curb the spike. I have always voted Tory and I don't envy their, or any governments, task to lower the spread but now I believe they are not so much interested in the medical science but a punishment.

The problem is TTT there will be an 'inquest'. I fear that will show the numbers were deliberately withheld. Either way Johnson promised an open and transparent Government and it has been anything but. This enquiry is likely to be delivered on about 4 years time would be my guess, especially if left wing civil servants are involved.
All labour need to do is just keep a back seat. A few mumblings about not enough but give support. In the event the enquiry shows the Government were wrong they will simply say, and rightly so, we didnt have the data. Even if the Government turn out to be right much fuss will be made about things that were simply control and why they didnt level with the public.
Johnson has also constantly disappeared. Hancock is the most arrogant Minister we have seen for many years, he is also very incompetent. My guess he is the fall guy, but that can back fire.

PP, I think you mean ‘aren’t’ advising - but then such is your haste to pick up on practically everything I say that mistakes are inevitable. I haven’t advised that they do what they’re doing. I’ve said I think the vulnerable should be protected and that life for the rest should return to normal - but this behaviour is not normal because life is not normal. Try again…. or better still, don’t bother. You’ll only keep putting your foot in your mouth.
