Without a doubt.

Lots of religions, and the hierarchies thereof are based almost entirely on the subjugation by men of women as a whole, and as many other men and children as they can get.

That in my view simply reflects human nature - there will always be those who want to 'rule', religion is a tool that facilitiates them, without it they would simply find another system that does the job.

If they were, one would have to ask why Muslims suffer vastly disproportionately to any other group of people from a serious mental disorder. My view is that it is the impact of a faith involving exteme devotion - more than just about any other - combined with a personality prevalent in Arabic culture which tends towards a willingness to carry thoughts and ideas way beyond normal levels, to extremes in fact.

This I believe is why Muslims from other nations provide these murderous psychopaths, and British Muslims, who exhibit far calmer and more reasonable personalities, are not involved in such extremist behaviour in anything like such numbers.

It is just my view, and I am expressing it as I see it.
