A dead teacher ?
Bobbi - // AH, I don’t see many death threats on R&S ... //

A site as moderated as this one is, is unlikrely to leave anything like a death threat on the site for very long, so your argument on that score is really shot down.

// ... those who are making them need arrested and told there is no room for that kind of stuff in a Christian country ! //

Well that's where we differ then - I happen to think there is no room for that kind of stuff in any country - for me that includes a nominally Christian country like this one - an important distinction - or anywhere else on the planet where people live!!!!

// Burley Shirley is right what she’s saying //

We must agree to differ on that.
It's sad because no matter how many people sign the petition I posted, this poor teacher probably isn't safe anymore. He may have to move away for fear of his life.
I am talking about here and it happened here, what other countries do is up to them

I have nothing against Islam, in fact I was kind of born into it but rejected it in my early teens as it wasn't for me, but why are they still protesting after the teacher has been sacked and apologies expressed by the Head? What are they hoping to achieve?

They want someone else sacked.
Who?
roy - // ... but why are they still protesting after the teacher has been sacked ... //

Are you sure he's been sacked?

Disciplinary proceedures in school take a lot longer than a couple of days, the Board of Gonvernors and the LEA have to be involved first, and that takes some time.
Just had a quick look - seems he is suspended, and that will be pending the Disciplinary Proceedures being underttaken, he will be able to fight his case with his Union.
Sorry, my mistake. He was suspended, not sacked.
No, he hasn't been sacked...we can expect him back next week.
He’s in hiding for his life Roy

It's about you posting that the teacher has been sacked when news threads advise that he is suspended - and my pointing out that you can't usually sack a teacher in two days - there are processes that have to be followed.

When you get your motor-finger in gear you can't actually follow a thread can you, andy?
Maybe the time following suspension could be used by the powers that be to grow a pair and see off the angry mob.

You c & p'd my post, and asked 'what was that about?' and I explained it - I fail to see where you assume I am not following - ?

If governors sacked teachers every time some parents were not happy, there would be no teachers in any schools anywhere!

If he is sacked, it will be because he has contavened the terms of his contract, not because some parents made some noise.
