Hmm, I cant stand the man (or many of them) but I do wonder if any of this is true.
It looks to me (and I am no Monarchist) that Andrew is a Vice Admiral and deferred the promotion to Admiral. So I guess he could go as Vice Admiral. Maybe he has said he wants to go as that and the title tattle has come out he said Admiral. But I find even that strange, the RF is usually very tight lipped and anyone tipping of the press wont be in a job for long.
I personally really dont see what the fuss is about, its all ceremonial anyway.
I didn’t think that AB could get more ridiculous than it already was but suggesting that being in the brownies constitutes military service takes the biscuit!
Emmie, Andrew and Harry saw 'active service' and have earned the medals they wear. Charles and William did not see active service and their medals are, by and large, nothing but Blue Peter badges. One of Charles' medals was awarded in recognition of being CIC of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was awarded a second 'clasp' to the medal for serving 32 years in that position.
So, this isn’t to say Charles’ medals are somehow unearned. He wears no medals for valor in combat. Instead, he wears the appropriate regalia, given his service, ranks in the Navy and Air Force, and appropriate titles. He wears the Order of Merit, the Order of the Bath, and the Queen’s Service Order, all for service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
if it wasn't for young men, older men, and women too its likely we wouldn't be here, but under the jackboot of Nazi Germany. So wearing a uniform of the armed services is necessary.
//Grown men dressing up in uniforms. Go and get a job .//
I sincerely hope you dont mean that as it is written as it appears extremely insulting to the brave men who put their lives on the line to protect you.

I have paid for the Mail six days a week for well over forty years - I think that entitles me to denigrate it and quote from it as often as I please, so I can have it both ways.
