Erm Russia is an authoritarian dictatorship ... not an example we want to following. If you want to live in one then move.

The thing that you can't get away from with XR is that they are correct. There is a climate change emergency, and there is a mass extinction going on and that's bad for humanity... and they are justified in their frustration at how limited and slow the response has been...

this interview with a lawyer who glued herself to Shell is worth reading if you wish to understand their motives rather than type with sticky fingers about how much you'd like the police to injure them for you!

yes they are annoying but climate change is a far more serious problem than the annoyance caused by a few protestors.
