Food Shortages.
"The British Retail Consortium" Which represents all the major food and retail chains in the UK.
Has said it expects to see food shortages and more empty shelves by the end of this week.
This is no longer about... will Christmas be OK ......It's about keeping the wheels turning and the lights on so we can get to Christmas..... Come on Boris ... time to step in. Before there is a winter of discontent under your leadership.

Its not a case of disagreeing or agreeing with gully, its looking at the facts. As someone who normally sells product to the EU, I personally am hitting brick walls trying to trade with the EU. They are making a scapegoat of the UK in a vain attempt to try and stop other Nations from thinking about coming out. Boris did not make good deals and God knows he had plenty...

Hi I'm just back from Aldi -a very large Aldi built last year so here is my report:
Random things not available such as avocados, no spring greens or cabbage, very few tomatoes but I grow my own so no big deal. Most veggies looking a bit 'tired' which is not normal for this Aldi .Meat seems in abundance, so I filled up on minced beef, stew meat chops etc, mega pack of chicken breast (naughty me). Milk seemed in short supply, but they had capers (but no Dijon mustard) . Cat food very low , seems only the expensive stuff left, same with dog food. Hardly any sugar left (three 1 kilo bags left on the pallet plus some soft brown sugar)
Seems very random and probably more to do with what HGV's were able to deliver that particular day. I did notice most of the vegetables had a union flag on which can only be good. Who needs green beans from Kenya for goodness sake. On the way there I saw a tanker filling up our village fuel pumps so on the way back filled up to the top.
Time will tell, but there are shortages for whatever reason, and to deny that is just plain stubbornness, or to make some sort of point.
