The airline clearly explained why Kahn and his mate were booted off the the plane. The rules may be silly, illogical, senseless etc but they are the rules and no one is better at applying senseless pointless rules than our American friends. Amir me old china just bear it so you can travel.

SP, //American Airlines has said Khan and his colleague were “deplaned” because they repeatedly refused to comply with crew member requests to stow luggage, place phones in airplane mode and adhere to face mask requirements .// I don't call 'repeatedly' refusing to comply with the crew's requests a 'minor infraction'. This from the Guardian link posted earlier ….

I say 'it's not helpful' to keep the conversation polite.
You say that you don't believe the crew could be racist because they deal with people of all races.
But these are merely people and people have faults. I'm not saying that they DEFINITELY picked on Khan because of his race but it's possible that that the one TCS staff member who made the decision was. It wouldn't be the entire cabin crew who took the decision.
It's awesome that you have such faith in people (the crew) - perhaps I'm a little jaded!
