The truth of the matter is that many supermarkets have had their way of working disrupted, nearly all of them work on a just in time basis. The disruption is for many reasons. Like hearing it or not, Brexit is one of them. Now some may insist that they have not experienced a shortage regarding their own personal shopping list, but one thing is for sure is that your...

Stickybottle @ 14.06 Can you please explain what SFTTP means ?

Stop Feeding The Troll People

Maybe I could change it to
DNIIGLF
Do Not Indulge In Gullivers Linkless Fantasies ?
:0) Its common sense really, lack of goods, late goods ( fresh foods) profit loss. I went into Sainsburys on Friday, they had rows of empty freezers, very basic goods peas, frozen chips. Some may say well my Sainsburys was full, well all that depends on how far the goods have to travel to you local shop. All in all Sainsburys is one business and the profit margin affects every store and price, full or part empty.

Folk are free to post links contradicting his claims if they want to.

Lol
Did you ask gulliver for links or pics to his claims from the OP ?
Get over yourself and stop protecting him
If you are a Mod then do some moderation
If not wrap up !
You're the one who posted the link to that image but I have no idea as to its relevance.

12.49 Most of those photographs were dated 2015 Stickybottle.
Way before Cameron had even thought of giving the Uk a referendum.
No idea what the reason is, but there were a few empty shelves when I was in Lidl this afternoon. Luckily everything I needed was in stock.
Not feeding the troll today gulliver or any day

Just responding to Corbyloon

So it is not for you to decide who does and does not get to reply or supply links as you tried to with your earlier post

You ask ABers to post links to the contrary but do not ask it of the OP
As I said get over yourself
...and still the children play....
oh and don't we just love 'em for it ginge ;-) at least we can keep an eye on them.

You appear to have an issue understanding a very simple statement.

I posted, "Folk are free to post links contradicting his claims if they want to."

Is there an instruction or request contained within that statement?

Have I claimed or even hinted that I, "decide who does and does not get to reply or supply links" within that statement?

The answer is "No" to both questions.

Maggiebee 17.38 probably Brexit related........ Supermarket staff have been instructed to bring the goods to the front of the shelves now and place packing cases behind them to cause an optical illusion.

There's always going to be more delays ,more costs.
.......It's never ever going to be as smooth as it was before Brexit.......
