OK, I'm on the side of the parents of a child killed at Sandy Hook, who for 10 years had to endure Alex Jones calling them liars, until eventually the only way they could stop him was to sue him for defamation. Which they have now successfully done.
During the case, Jones testified that the shooting was "100% real" and that it was wrong to call it a hoax. Such a shame that he couldn't have figured that out in the ten years beforehand.
I'm not on Jones's side and I'm not on the judge's side, I'm on the parents' side. Why position this as Jones versus the judge, rather than Jones versus the parents he'd been defaming for ten years?
