...She's bang on, the wee un keeps banging on about a referendum when the problems in Scotland are severe and numerous. You had your "once in a generation" vote in 2014, now get on with improving the lot of your people.

Quite incredulous and pathetic really that the next PM of the United Kingdom would advocate ignoring and be so denigrating of the democratically elected leader of one of the countries that make up said ‘United Kingdom’.
What happened to all the proper statesmen/women and politicians who acted with decorum, integrity and decency when dealing with their peers and equals?
She’s certainly just lost Scotland at the GE.

Quite the contrary, whatever one says as a politician will always come back to haunt you at the most in opportune moment.
This particular idiot will come to rue what she said but especially at a GE.

That’s not what I meant of course. Having said that, she called NS an “attention seeker” - It’s an opinion of which there are many in politics. I can’t see it coming back to “haunt her” exactly

They didn’t have to deal with the leaders devolved administrations (who are neither their peers nor equals) some of whom, instead of concentrating on emptying the bins, prefer to strut their stuff as “international” leaders.

Experience tells me that the chances of more than about 1% of their pledges turning into reality is near enough nil and why they are bothering to trouble the electorate at large is somewhat puzzling. They would be better off simply roaming round the country, visiting the Conservative clubs, having a Gin & Tonic whilst doing their best to get the members drunk enough to believe their fairy tales. This would keep them off the telly and out of the way of other people going about their business. Politicians must be used to their musings coming back to haunt them as they all make promises they know they will not keep.
