There’s more vacancies than people out of work ,Liz Truss when she came to power said benefits would be reduced if it’s proven that the claimant wasn’t actively seeking work, she’s now facing a rebellion with calls for an increase for those on benefits

I don't have a problem with anyone who disagrees but clarity on a subject helps.
Speaking your mind (disagreeing) is what it all about. Sadly, because those on the left exist in a strange fantasy world where all who disagree are automatically wrong, and are banished to internet wilderness, the only voices they hear are their own . Hardly democratic
Right or left, employment, unemployment is nothing new. Look back to the 1920s and onwards its part of life and someone somewhere will always experience periods of such. Some for longer others for shorter, how we deal with it has become better, but not perfect. But not everyone should be put in the same melting pot.
MissTerious: Could you enlighten me how you know that 'the system is abused by too many'? Do have any facts to support your point?
Blackstoun at 5.51pm.

That is so incredibly true.

I’m right of centre, but often agree with left of centre, but those more to the left simply cannot bear a differing opinion.
BOBBI, you've not explained how you identify folk on benefits out in the street, other than those you know personally.
Paign. Yes I have facts but not that I will discuss on here. Benefit fraud has been rife for decades and it's not difficult to get away with .
And most of it isn't out on the streets
Miss Terious @ 23.07 And most of it isn't out on the streets. You are correct most of it is big time fraud I believe, a lot of it being conducted from overseas like many other fraud crimes. It's not your average unemployed Joe public in this country. Your average Joe public does not enjoy being out of work and struggling month after month ( in my experience).

In saying that, you will always have the odd one who finds it very difficult to get out of bed in the morning and go to work and be prepared to earn a living wage, those sorts of people will always look for an easy option, but they are being chased down a lot more than you may think.
