Why on earth are grown-up people making a fuss about what pattern of cloth is hung up on someone's pole? Surely there are more interesting things to foam about.
"I am entitled to my opinion which is that Scotland would be far better off with independence."

Loved this!

I admire the naive delusion, and in a way I respect it, even though Scotland being "better off" with independence is just so ridiculously fanciful is it laughable.

An independent Scotland without the support of England would be in penury very quickly. Ah, but the deluded Nats will say, we'll be in the EU.

You wouldn't. The EU wouldn't accept an economic basket case, and they certainly wouldn't allow Scotland jump the queue of countries still waiting to join who are more economically robust than an 'independent' Scotland.

i hate it when people point out spelling mistakes, but it's funny when people are all holier than thou, and correct your spelling with their own mistake
^^^so why do it?

It doesn’t add anything to the debate.
No, but it pulls smug smart *** up in their tracks.
The starred out word was a synonym of bottoms …
