It would be ironic if the US finally did clamp down on gun ownership and banned lots of weapons because of the attempted assassination of Trump.  
Surely it would be difficult for the Republicans to block gun control after this? Biden should take the initiative (don't laugh), and introduce a bill to clamp down on these fearsome weapons - call their bluff.

I agree with the condemnation of those apalling comments. Trump might not be everyone's cup of tea but he is a husband, father and grandfather. No one deserves to be shot dead because of their political ideals.
