unfortunately this kind of violence becomes inevitable when you annex another country's territory. the golan heights do not belong to israel--they were seized by force. if israel truly cared about protecting its citizens more than it cared about its horrible "greater israel" empire then it would not place Israelis in harm's way by moving them there.
