In Panicking Now, What Will Happen?

untitled: "please bear in mind that you are describing people that i know... and therefore i don't believe you. you're trying to tell me that friends and neighbours secretly have it in for me and are all lying in order to mask their sinister purpose. that is a weird thing to do toratoratora and it isn't going to work. " - they don't have it in for you directly but when they are given carte blanche by their leaders they'll use it. We've seen it in many times, once friendly neighbours discover they can legally rob and murder the bogey man..... You seem blind to what is going on all around you.
untitled: "why do you believe that islam has no place in the uk?" - From Naomi: When I read some of the ill-informed rhetoric posted here I truly despair. Comparisons to Crusaders and political activists in other areas - and the obvious answer to the violence - psychopaths who for some strange reason are far more abundant in one group than in any other - none of it is rational. From 9/11 to 7/7, from the Taliban to Isis to Hamas, from the slaughter at the Manchester Arena to the beheading of charity worker Alan Henning, from Charlie Hebdo when thousands of 'ordinary' Muslims in Europe and elsewhere went on the rampage demanding blood, to the vicious slaughter of Lee Rigby, to Salman Rushdie, maimed for life for writing a book - to the people who sent a teacher and his family into hiding because he had the temerity to show a class a cartoon of Mohammed, to the atrocity at the Bataclan, to the women who, despite wearing western dress in normal life, thoroughly disrespect our courts by insisting on hiding under Islamic garments before our judges, to the NHS hygiene rules that are overridden to accommodate Islamic foibles, putting public health at risk, to the girl who is currently battling her school - at the taxpayers' expense - for the 'right' to ignore rules that apply to everyone else - and the people supporting her by intimidating staff and pupils alike. All of this and much, much more have just one thing in common. Islam. Make excuses for this at your peril - or more correctly at the peril of those who follow you because you're old and you won’t be reaping the result of what you're sowing. What legacy are you leaving - and are you sure it's one you want to leave? You make a grave error in comparing Islam to other religions, and in endowing its followers with a mindset similar to your own because it's one that those indoctrinated into this regime don’t possess. Islam is not just a religion - it is a philosophy that doesn't compromise, that is arrogant in its determination, that has no respect for outsiders, that is the most misogynistic on the planet - something its non-Islamic champions don't seem to have a problem in over-looking - and make no mistake - justification for everything it does can be found in its literature. It governs every single aspect of life - even to the right way to use the toilet. I truly believe that the west is now facing a very serious crossroads - and the life Islam imposes is not one that your children and their children will ever thank you for - so just be careful what you defend - and what you wish for.

So can I ask you, untitled, what do you see happening in say the next 50 years in this area?
what is it that i am blind to? we're forever told that all muslims are intolerant and reactionary because of their religion but if i look at the muslims i know (and also at ones in the public eye), this description is accurate of some and not of others. some muslims i know who are born here and speak like i do and have the same cultural references as i do... i have no trouble viewing such people as british.
ok, next 50 years? here is what i am expecting to happen over my remaining lifetime.
the single biggest change in the uk population will be the dying off of the current boomer generation who are a disproportionately high section of society and will be replaced by ageing millennials as the majority. the uk's economy will continue to rely on immigration because by this point our uk-born labour force will simply be too small to meet the needs of the economy. in the meantime the consequences of climate change will get considerably worse and people will flee the affected areas and come to the west for refuge in hitherto unprecedented numbers. whole swathes of the earth in central america, north africa and central asia will be rendered newly unfit for human habitation and those people will move in order to live - they will come in sych numbers that governments will be physically incapable of stopping them. eventually the UK will become a country in which the majority of people are of mixed ethicity. racial and ethnic tensions will probably get much worse in the medium term as will standard of living due to the impact climate change. over 2-3 generations and by the time i die, the people who are born into this society will come to see it as the norm.
i think all of the uk's present demography is going to get absolutely swamped by the migrations that climate change will make inevitable.
this is roughly what i think the world will look like by the time i die:

i'm not really worried about "islamification" in this circumstance.
