I think that the whole terroroist situation has become farcical both in U.S. and, following recent events, also in the U.K.
If evidence exists against those held then they should be tried in a court of law and sentenced accordingly or released, holding without trial is only stoking the fire and providing fuel for the arguments against the policies adopted by both U.S. and U.K. governments.
if these deaths are suicides then it is more an act of martyrdom than of desperation, (my opinion only), and to continue to hold prisoners in this way will only result in more similar deaths and possibly terrorist reprisal acts. If they were murdered then those responsible are no better than the accused and should receive a level of punishment which dictates that such acts cannot and will not be tolerated by a civil society. This can only have substance though if those holding these prisoners start to practice that which they preach JUSTICE--Fair and Honest For All.
