First point - Why when talking about muslims and Islam does everybody immediately assume that they are all fundamentalists and extremists? And before I get the full back lash, yes, I quite agree, there are some muslims out there who do want to enforce Islam in Britain and I do not agree with this. In much the same way I don't agree with anyone shoving their culture/religion down someone elses throats whether they're jeehovah's witness, jewish, creationalist, catholic, christian... whatever!
Second Point - By responding to the few extremist muslims by tarring all muslims with the same brush, do you not think that perhaps you are helping them to achieve their aim of dividing the country and continueing this feud? When IRA were about in the 80's, did you think that all northern irish, catholic men were members?!
And finally - Yes I do think that islam should be touched on schools, along with all other types of religion as well, partly because it might teach tolerence, mainly because it's always nice to take an informed stance.
