Today I got home from work and the house was taped off and there was about 5 cops outside and forensics (sp?) and all sorts. The house next door was growing cannabis!!! This has been the weirdest day ever!
How would they have known they were doing this though? With one of those Thermal heat detector thingys?

I think the workmen we had here this morning noticed it too as they had to go in next door because of the eletrics and stuff they were sorting!

I feel like I have lived a week in 24hrs! My parents went away yesterday and in 24hrs, my house lost electricity, the workmen had to dig up the drive and grass. I was having a dinner party tonight and had loads of food in freezer I thought I'd lose but that was ok. Then the flippin; neighbours get arrested! I'm actually in disbelief!

Nope... Tuna steak, Aubergine bake, garlic bread... then for pudding there was chocolate gateau (sp?) and toffee pecan brulee cheesecake.

Course it was worth it! I had a great time and I always do with that lot!!! That's what having friends is all about ... no matter where you are or what you do, you enjoy the company. They always have me round their houses for dinner and I never get to invite them round coz I live with my parents and it's hard to get them out the house.

I told the shadow man I was a good detective ... lmfao ... the leccy board can work out how much is being pulled from some points in the system, but then after that it is down to observation, those lamps are power thirsty beings.This is exactly the sort of stuff that happens to my family ... you couldn't make it up. They found some growing bold as brass on a dual carriageway central reservation in South Bucks, then there was the exceptionally happy fire in Slough, a growing house went up in smoke no irony there then ... lots of strange people followed the smell v. funny.

No pun intended Rubes they dug up the drive and GRASS did they? I bet your folks 'll never leave home again, I hope you took a phone piccy and sent it to your folks with it wasn't me as the message!!! lol.

Wow lol! It's all going on!!! We have moments like that round here, ambulances and police cars seem to be a regular thing down our cul-de-sac! (just like to state the police were never for us lol)

Just a thought, do you know if it was anything to do with your neighbours with your electricity going down like that? They weren't trying to tap into your supply or anything were they?

Haha... someone else said it was like 'Home Alone' too... My parents already know everything that's going on! They can't believe it. The cops are in and out using my loo as well. Police have been there all night in the cop car which is kind of nice coz I felt a lot safer!
