What do you think UK should do? Do you think Iran is foolish enough to do some thing like this? Do you think UK must defend Israel at all cost?

I think we've been dragged into enough wars on Americas coat tails recently don't you?

It's academic though - Iranians pledging to erradicate Israel and Americans pleding to irradicate Iran in response is all just political manoevering, playing to internal factions in each country.

It's not so easy to spot where the real risk areas are - who of us 10 years ago would have seen us fighting a war in Afghanistan?

with our government... any excuse for a war... although frankly if iran did launch a nuclear attack i would damn well hope that every goverment would obliterate them... there is a reason nukes havent been used in anger it completely screws up wherever you blow them up and for a long time afterwards

Frankly, Israel has done nothing for me, so I am going to do nothing for them. They have enough nuclear weapons to defend themselves with out dragging Britain into it and getting young British soldiers killed. You think if Britain gets attached by china tomorrow, Israel will jump in? I think the only time that UK should send its troops, is when the occupied or the country under the attack do not have the resources or the odds are drastically against them. Every body should learn how to defend themselves and stand against their enemy. The British blood or tax payers money are not more expendable than other people�s blood or resources.
