A British honeymoon couple are shot in Antigua, and the Bride is dead and her Husband of a few days is fighting for his life.

Yet I can find no report of it, in the Independant, and only a small piece tucked away in the Guardian, under the heading more news.

Good job the Daily Mail find it important enough to report on this horrible affair.

what are you on about? It occupied about a third of the Guardian's front page this morning, plus more on page 2. If it's not still on the front page of their website, that's because it happened yesterday; websites update frequently with the latest news, whereas newspapers can only report news from the day before.

I think they're overrating it a bit myself, probably because of the 'honeymoon on paradise island' angle. I have stayed at that hotel myself and nobody murdered me.

From what I saw in the today (just a cursory glance down the shelves in WH Smith) every paper is covering this story.

It's huge.

Any editor not running this story would be out of their mind.

Maybe you saw very early editions? Actually that doesn't make sense...The Standard (London paper) carried it last night.

Why do you think they were trying to bury the story which I reckon 60% of the nation already knows about (via other news outlets)???

If you read my post correctly, I was referring only to the Guardian and the Independant, and since I do not buy these papers, I was only referring to their web pages.

Hello AOG, your subsequent post has clarified your initial bizarre question.

There is no denying the fact that the leftwing press and television have ignored this story about white people being killed on holiday by black people.

The Grauniad and Indefencible can splash this story all over their front pages in type too large for a blinkered old bigot to read, but it takes the holy DM to tell it how it is - the Caribbean is dangerous because it is full of black people (and they are related to the ones stabbing everyone in London).

I don't know what medication you are on AOG, but I would stop taking it it, we are used to you being barmy, but tour post and follow up are plain delisional.

These are a prime example of the Gromit's insane obsession with colour. If one cannot find any disparaging remarks against the 'Blacks' why not invent one or two of one's own, and so therefore raise up bad feelings amongst the Whites and Blacks.

Incidently the last excerpt is a total invention of Gromit's twisted mind. In fact it is so detrimental towards the Daily Mail, to be almost libelist.

I have read the report over again and the only reference to the colour Black, is in relation to the 'Black Market. No insult here, unless of course the Left have construed this to be also racist.
