Who are these people complaining about what Prince Harry said in the video?
**** is just short for for a person from Pakistan the same as Brit is short for a person from Britain and nobody gets pulled up for saying that!

But civilised society is judged by its treatment of the weakest - individuals who are upset, hurt and offended by racial slurs.
Because a proportion of the abused are able to take abuse and not feel offended or intimidated is no reason what ever to ignore the plight of those who do suffer.
I find myself able to go through life without using any racial slurs in a 'jokey' or otherwise fashion, I really don't see the problem.

I neither use racist language or spend meaningful time with anyone who does. I concur that there are instances where great offence is caused AND intended by such language, I just don't believe that this is one of them.

As Andy-Hughes said on an earlier post - this thread has split into two subjects. To be honest, I'm not overly surprised by Harry's remarks, the question of intent on his part has been superceded by the discussion of the use of racist epithets in general.
However, it has got me thinking...if Harry plays his cards right, he could be the Duke Of Edinburgh for the new millennium!

n!gger in a very friendly way with no malice whatsoever. At the time it was said this language was not acceptable, she was thrown off the programme and even had threats made against her. All this was without malice. Yet somehow it is OK for Harry to say something similar, without malice etc. etc. etc. Just because he is royalty? Is that it?

Harry, if you're reading this, may I offer my sincere apologies for remarking that your parentage is questionable....especially seeing as you're the first redheaded royal in at least three generations.
Especially in the light that your mother had a well documented dalliance with a red headed polo player.

Ok so some some small minded people do use this term and many others to insult people. I have seen boy with red hair be singled out and bullied through out high school because he was 'a ginger minger' on the other hand i had a muslim friend who herself refered to herself as p... and no offence was taken wen others called her thisThis was her nick name. Tigerlily...............We're NOT Jewish (not that it would mater either way) but 'Jew Boy' was my sons tag and no doubt his comrades had other equally bizarre or offensive (not that offence was taken by them..............I can't speak for any passing civilians, mind).

i havent been able to read all the comments but... why did Harry have to use that *P* word? you didnt see him saying..oh look at my *White* mate...so and so? if hes british(no doubt he will be) he could have said... 'heres my british mate.......' but what he said was wrong.
