Immigrants Leave for Home
With pictures of Romanian immigrants in Northern Ireland splashed around the world many have felt sympathy to their cause. They are here legally as they are part of the wider EU.
Will this stop a flood of refugees from elsewhere wishing to make their home in Ireland or will they continue to target England where the population are more compassionate? If so how can we prevent this surge?

I can see with my own eyes the damage these people are doing to our small communities. I and many others have lost jobs directly because of them doing the work for next to nothing.
No-one has to tell me anything, I can see it perfectly well for myself.

Can anyone explain why if you are anti-immigration are you automatically racist?
It is not about RACE, it is about NUMBERS.
If somone broke into my house and took over one of my bedrooms I would call the police and hopefully they would remove them.
Does that make me racist?
No, I am just trying to protect my home.
Well England is my home, and I am trying to protect that as well.
The main parties dont seem to want to protect my home (England) at all, and continue to allow anyone and everyone to come here, with almost no check on their skills, education, ability to speak English, and so on.
And they seem very lax on illegal immigration and fake asylum seekers as well.
All people are doing is trying to protect their home country.
What is so wrong with that.

VHG - I'd question your analogy. A more accurate similie would be:
I rented out a room to some paying tenants because I urgently needed some work done to my house. They always paid on time and eventually we refitted the kitchen and got our roof fixed.
This arrangement worked fine for years. In fact they even started to look after my mum, and do all the dirty horrible jobs around the house. Result!!!
However, I got a bit slack and rented another room to someone I didn't know and they took the Mick. They would sit around the house with my son watching telly all day and not contributing.
I got so angry that I decided to chuck all my tenants out, whether they were good or bad.
Now my guttering needs replacing and the boiler's blown up and I've got no dosh to get them fixed.
But then

As if the situation is not bad enough the No Borders group have set up a camp in Calais this week to enable by hook or crook to get illegal immigrants into Britain.
This is their web site:

Fascism may be a dirty word but allowing people with no affiliation to Britain is a worse situation than allowing German troops to over-run Britain.

There are clues in skin colour, language, behaviour, that different types of people are possibly not going to get on?
I have seen invasions of "Romany Gypsies" onto Mitcham Common. What you get is piles of rubbish, no-go areas, and HUMAN EXCREMENT in the bushes. These people are not to be treated as citizens while they insult the societies they infest.
I may be wrong, but at a guess, these people fall into this broad category. In which case, if they return to Romania, good job too, and the sooner the better.

Charliechan, your attempt to justify the loyalist aggression is pathetic. "The Village", where the Romanians were forced from, is by no stretch of the imagination, "a really exclusive part of Belfast, nicely kept..". It is a totally loyalist area, working class and run down council housing estate, complete with all the usual political murals/graffiti/flags etc.
The area has a history of intolerance. The church where the Romanians were temporarily housed was also attacked.
And the Chinese have certainly felt loyalist racism, but not so much these days as they have new targets now.
