I care neither one way nor another that he is dead (as Gazza said he could have been in out in 12yrs cos he only killed one person ...........W TF?)

Anyway I have followed this and the police categorically denied deploying a Taser.

They have now admitted they did at the time of his death.

How much confidence do you have in the police (if you had any anyway beforehand) now?

I know Police to be the same as the rest of us-they cheat and lie -they are human.

What still rankles me is that policewoman sniggering on the TV last night when her colleague was reading out a card saying he was a nutter -that could have had horrendous consequences.

i once gave a witness statement for a missing tourist and said i hope ive been of help and the Policeman said the longer the better for us and rubbed his fingers like more dosh !!

I have no faith-what about you?

I also found some of the media coverage hysterical too Dris. I know it was an awflu subject to cover, but the bits i watched were classic.

They interviewed a woman with really oddly coloured hair who was hysterical as her "mam" was in her house scared.

Then later I watched a bloke being interviewed who, despite being told to stay indoors all week was saying "we were having a BBQ like..." errr hello? starving nutter around? That's kinda like putting a picnic basket out with Yogi Bear around!

And once again, sorry, I do have a very weird sense of humour Dris.
How many other countries in the world would have negotiated with a killer for all those hours ?
He was a killer and a known bully . He beat his wife up and she kept taking him back like so many women do . Had he gone to jail yet again, it would have cost us £30,000 every year for every year he was there and for what ? Would he have turned into a normal human being ?
Would it have brought his victim back to life. Would it help the PC currently still seriously injured
and may not recover completely ?

Can I just address B00 first -the mothers daughter was done up to the eyes (wouldnt you if it was your 15 mins pmsl) -then she further appeared (t!ts out full make up) and said HE had raided her mams house earlier in the week -she couldnt confirm but she was sure !!
The BBQ -well I lmao and then the couple who referred to him as MR Moat who was within spitting distancne and she couldnt stop smiling who saw him at the river -did they high tail it -no they hang about to see what was happening and to give polite interviews about Mr Moat.-at this point im beginning to think Gazza is sane !!

modeller -what can I say ?
In this country our Judicial System is that you are innocent unil proven guilty.
Its all about -who saw Moat (just for talks sake)shoot those people???
I didnt -did they? Or was he suspected of it?
Confessions count for nothing now thankfully -I I dont have to explain that to you as im sure you are clued up enough about.

No, don't mis read what I typed please. I wasn't laughing over Moat himself, though I have to admit I don't have much sympathy, I was laughing at the way the media handled it and the downright fruitcakes they sought out to interview.
Personally I don't care if he was or wasn't tasered (I am sure the full details will come out in time). However, a bloke who goes on the run for 6 days after (allegedly) shooting his ex, her boyfriend and a copper is, on the balance of probabilty, guilty. It's almost a given that a bloke that desperate (or mad?) who has a hoarde of police dancing to his tune for over 6 hours with a gun pointed to his head is actually going to shot himself regardless of whether he is or isn't tasered.
^shoot (not shot!)

Hey onetoomany -ive been in that place -maybe not that extreme.
im certainly not laughing -look back at most of my posts.I find a sick 'humour' as does B00 in the way it was reprted -i suspect they chery picked to be honest.
As for gazza -i feel pity for any one in a dark place -ive been there -crucially on my own witjhoiut the benefits of the 'Priory' or any hospital and people around me -no ive just had to bloody well deal with my demons - not a case of geting a grip or pulling myself together -if only !!
No I did it the hard way hence the reason I am semi compus mentus now and gazza isnt so no I dont need told about mental issues even if theyre best intentioned
it will all come out in the wash as they say!

Its not humour againsts dead people -got to Jokes for that!!!!
Not one person has had a go at a poor person who has lost thir life -i merely said it didnt mattter to me whether he was alive or dead but I daresay it mattrered to his children.
Thats why i posted it it in the correct topic so it wouldnt degeneratate and you are the only person who has taken offense. If you cant stand the heat....

I understand mental health issues very well having suffered myself many times. I'm still glad Moat killed himself.
There was no way on this planet he would have been allowed out if he had been caught alive and imprisoned. The world is better off without homicidal mad men.
BBC News has just reported (as I've said in stoke's thread) that there are NO taser marks on Moat's body.
Been watching this on tv during nightshift this week and was surprised to hear the woman say they used the Tazer after all the "experts" last night during the stand off were saying the police will sit and wait for as long as it takes and will only take action if he aims the gun at them
Moat was the embodiment of sheer anger and contempt that many people in this country feel toward the police force and the criminal justice system for that matter. I fear that those in the police force who genuinely do want to make a difference, protect citizens and uphold the law are now in the minority. I have little faith in this system and it will no doubt be revealed that they caused his death.
With that said (and I do not condone his actions) all this could have been avoided if Moat's girlfriend hadn't cheated on him and lied about her partner being a police officer.
Moat was, in my opinion a victim of this country's corrupt policing system. It is a shame this man is dead, how can his own mother live with herself for willing him dead!
^^^ what a warped mind you have. She lied so she deserved to be shot, and that other bloke just happened to be her boyfriend so he deserves to be dead.

Good riddance to scum.
The ex-girlfriend didn't cheat on him. She had told Moat by phone 2 weeks before his release that she didn't want to be with him any more. She had only been with the new boyfriend for 1 week according to many reports I have read.

I can't believe that so many people seem to think that the ex-girlfriend was to blame for what Moat did!
Move along now folks, there's nothing to see here.

Move along now.
Lol Hopkirk.
I most certainly do not have a warped mind. As I stated in my previous post I DO NOT CONDONE HIS ACTIONS bibblebub. No person deserves to die and you have misinterpreted my words!
I made a judgment based on the media reports I had read regarding his girlfriend, if I was wrong Daffy, I apologize.
