So a Taser was deployed at Moat ....
I care neither one way nor another that he is dead (as Gazza said he could have been in out in 12yrs cos he only killed one person ...........W TF?)
Anyway I have followed this and the police categorically denied deploying a Taser.
They have now admitted they did at the time of his death.
How much confidence do you have in the police (if you had any anyway beforehand) now?
I know Police to be the same as the rest of us-they cheat and lie -they are human.
What still rankles me is that policewoman sniggering on the TV last night when her colleague was reading out a card saying he was a nutter -that could have had horrendous consequences.
i once gave a witness statement for a missing tourist and said i hope ive been of help and the Policeman said the longer the better for us and rubbed his fingers like more dosh !!
I have no faith-what about you?

This whole sorry saga has cost the tax payers millions already, why do we need an enquiry into who did what or even a second post mortem? He killed a man in cold blood, and seriously injured two others. He didnt deserve to walk this earth and breath the same air as other law abiding citizens. Whatever the police had done wouldnt have been right in everyones book, but as far as I am concerned, they should have shot him on first sight as soon as they had a positive ID.
Whether it's right or wrong of me to think this way, but in this particular case I personally don't care whether the police lied or not. The guy's dead, and I can't help but think its a blessing that he is.
The only pity is for the poor guy he shot, the ex girlfriend and the cost of this whole sorry affair.

there are victims in this sorry played out drama
an innocent bloke got shot and killed, another innocent bloke, policeman or not, has been shot and will suffer life changing consequences,
a girl gets shot because she thought by saying she was going out with a Northumbrian copper, he (Moat) would back off, infact all it did was inflame a very jealous mind, then there are the families of everyone concerned including Mr Moats family who witnessed the shot live on TV..
these are the forgotten victims in this

i thing in the past being in the police was perhaps more of a vocation. people joined because they truly believed in it and wanted to dedciate their lives to it..in much the same nursing used to be...
now policing and nursing are just jobs...a way to make a living...their heart is not in it...hence why a fair few are corrupt and abuse their power.
i know about 6 nurses...and not one of them gives a toss about the patients, and regualrly laugh and express their dislike for the job... they just do it to get paid...
