Believing In Santa Claus
41 Answers
Speaking to one of my neighbours today I was surprised to learn her 11 year old twins still believed in Santa. They've been to see him, sent him a letter, sprinkling reindeer dust in the garden tonight (?) - the whole lot. Think I found it more bizarre because she'd taken them for a bra fitting the same day as visiting Santa! I know its none of my business and too many kids grow up too fast these days but just wondered what kind of age others were when they worked it out.

These poor lads are going to have a rough old time at big school if this isn't addressed.
Children are very able to distinguish fact from fantasy. They don't seriously believe three bears made porridge and most work out the Santa story with help from friends and family.
I don't think infantilising children does them any favours.
