Now I may get everyone on my back here, but I am so angry, gypsies have moved in on our industrial estate, they are everywhere. I take all people as they come and basically they've come as scummy thieves. They hack into water supplies steal timber etc. There's being a proper gypsy and then there's taking the p!ss. what are other people views on them? Some I like and have time for up town as they are based at a gypsy site but these I do not have time for.

Most of them are Pikeys and not real Gypsies and should be shot, they are theiving bastads and will never admit to doing anything wrong, whether it be stealing,starting a fight in a pub or dumping rubbish

after seeing the desruction these gypsies cause time and time Im with you. I dont have the time for them at all.

I have only every come across one family group that was decent. The mess they leave and the things they take when they finally move on are costly not only to us but the council.

Romany gypsies fine, but travellers who thieve and ignore any police or government laws, move them on!

Our town has a purpose built gypsy site. Because of this we are meant to have the ability to move them into that or move them on if its full. But there has never been a time when thats happened.

They used to years ago and if you bought nothing they would put a curse on you.

But yes, I'm sorry to say that i feel much as the above posters do, they are not proper gypsies, more leeches.

well since you asked, there were some at our school for a while and then there was a flea infestaiton, this was a nightmare and went on for ages.
smell when in the same room as one was seriously BAD.
they dont seem to pay council tax as they dont have a permant address/home.

doc those are romany gypsies which in my eyes are good because they are actually making a living, This days they just steal or possibly steal the pegs and lucky charms to sell to you. and I dont care what they say about me, I have never stolen from their family or parked in their site.

my best friend is a gyspy well his father is and his mother isnt, the people you see living in filth travelling around places are not gypsies they are called "paddys" so i am told, the gypsies i no have houses but some of them (more the older ones)still live in caravans but are based at a proper site.i agree that they cause a lot of havvock and give the real gypsies a bad name xx

well this lot here are paddys or pikeys. Ive got ratty little dogs running all over my car park. Bet they wont be pleased if one gets hit by the forklifts or lorries?

They are a nightmare, the ones that move around and cause havock.
I have a permenant gypsy site about 10 mins drive from my home but i can say they seem to keep themselves to tehmselves and cause no one any bother.
But the ones that think they own the places they stay on and have a 'right' to be there, go my head in.
I was in a supermarket the other week and quite clearly there was a gypsey or pickey family in there, the woman was heavily pregnant and she was filthy, and i mean filthy, no shoes on black feet toes nails i wont even begin to describe and a little boy about 5 years old swearing at his mother! it was gross.
I know some nice gypsey that i have come across be it wghen i was a kid and friends of friends and know they are not all like this.

When I was at work, I had to go court twice to get them off our car park/premises. They broke into our water main, electricity & left human & dog poo everywhere! It took ages to get it cleaned up & cost the company a small fortune.

As an aside - A teacher friend of ours, was telling us that a little traveller boy in her class kept calling her & the other staff 'Missus'!

By the time it took them to teach him to address them properly as Miss So-in-so or Mrs So-in-so, he'd left!

Yes as I said we have a site and any I have met of there are nice decent people. But these gypsies are disgusting there dogs are running all over the place, and there kids are just as bad as the dogs and just as dirty.

They're Tinkers, vile people and many actually own property in Ireland, so why they feel the need to roam the lovely English countryside and wreck it i don't know. Jealousy perhaps? I hope they move on soon before they do too much damage 4getmenot.
