Theres is a poem called the man who wasn't there and i remember hearing it in a film a while ago but i cannot remember the name of the film. Do not confuse with the film of the same name. If anyone can tell me what film it is in i would be very grateful.

(No idea of the film, The Invisible Man perhaps?)
The film was called "The Man Who Never Was" - the true story of a WWII hoax carried out by the British to try and fool the Germans. The film is still around on DVD. For the story, look here
You're probably thinking of the film Identity, which was (coincidentally?) shown on Channel Five last night. One of the characters recites it and claims to have written it - though it was actually written by William Hughes Mearns.
the same poem was used in an episode of Sapphire and Steel - anyone remember that show
