We are coming to the end of a memorable reign of The Dinky Duke in which I have been AWOL for a couple of weeks. My sincere thanks go to gen2 for such a polished performance in my absence and "Congratulations" to The Dinky Duke, himself for being virtually self-sufficient. We shall see his last set of four words to be linked tomorrow morning at 9.00am.
Also look out for seekeerz from Oz, who is the regular organiser of the international version of this same game (called KM Links). That usually kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am in which we attempt to predict the four link words of the Daily Telegraph's weekend challenge. Quite a few entrants have scored 4 out of 4 here in the recent past.
What will happen tomorrow is anyone's guess. Certainly the winner of the MM June's Challenge will earn the right to set the links throughout the month of July! There are several in the leading bunch ~ but the winner will have to hold their nerve.
Me? I am crofter, Keeper of the Rule Book and Ancient Abacus.
Now I know that a lot of you Shrubberesses are not as old as you like to pretend, so I have posted this to celebrate your true age - and don't pretend you are not:
Good evening.
Jan, where did you find that picture of me and my mates?
Great record strix, I remember quite well when that first came out,........... not ashamed of my age - we had really great music then.
I have no doubt the party went something like this (a modern verson of a Noel Coward song by the Divine Comedy). Probably a bit grown up for some you gals:
